No, not watching TV and listening to the radio!!! Using the other piece of Fiddleback Maple and a plasma cutout of the Texas Longhorn. Found the metal at welding class, someone actually threw it out!!! So, I ground the sharp edges down, salt sprayed it, and let it rust a bit more. Then used some gorilla glue to adhere the steel to the wood. This is a gift for a friends 40th birthday.
I hope she likes it.

Hi Brian--this is really cool! Different theme, but it seems like you're doing the same thing blogwise. I'm going to look at it again, but the stuff you're making looks really cool!
Came back again, with a little more time! Very impressed by the effort you to to with these projects! The fire extinguisher looks like it'll be a nice little piece, and the wood piece is cool too. I don't have these skills--nice to see others that do.
